An albino California Kingsnake with two heads (condition known as polycephaly) has become an attraction at a zoo in the Black Sea resort of Yalta, southern Ukraine. The snake is believed to be Europe’s only two-headed snake.
Snake’s heads sometimes fight for food, so zoo workers have to put a barrier between when they feed it. However, both heads feel satiation because they only have one stomach.
Sometimes one head wants to crawl in one direction and the other head in another direction, while there is also a possibility snake’s head could instinctively try to attack and eat the other one since kingsnakes hunt other reptiles.
