Check it out. Three members of Mountain Dew New Zealand’s Ambassador sports programme, Haimona Ngata (BMX), Brett Band (Skateboarding) and Mike Bancroft, built their ultimate skate park – skate pinball.
Every part of the skatepark is looking and functioning exactly like a pinball machine, including flashing lights, tunnels, rails, amazing graphics, sound effects and a live scoreboard.
Riders are propelled like actual pinballs into a 600 square metre arena where they tackle obstacles, trip sensors, hit the ramps and try to score the highest number of points possible.
The skate park is located in Henderson, Auckland, and will be open to the public for one month starting June.
