Player Sent Off Because of Dangerous Haircut (Video)

Nathan Van Someren, an Australian Rules player, who plays for Victorian country side Simpson Tigers, was sent off because his gelled mohawk haircut was deemed dangerous by umpire.

Van Someren was told to leave the field in the third quarter of their match against Otway Districts, but The Victorian Country Football League (VCFL) later said the umpire made the wrong decision.

Van Someren had played with the same hairdo for three years without a problem, reports NDTV Sports.
