Magdalena, two-headed tortoise with two brains, each with their own nervous system, will try to follow the footsteps of Paul the Octopus, and will take the role of tipster for the ice hockey World Championships in Slovakia (April 29th to May 15th) , reports Metro.
Magdalena, who also has five legs, is tortoise version of Siamese twins. During the pregnancy, the embryos didn’t separate correctly, resulting in two heads which, for a tortoise, are not better than one because the second head sometimes doesn’t allow the tortoise to know where to go, explained Magdalena’s owner, Roman Gresak from Zilina, Slovakia.
However, she will try to predict outcome of the hockey games by moving around a small model of an ice hockey rink.
Magdalena embarked on the path of fame by predicting the success of Slovakia against outsiders Slovenia on Friday in the opening match going in line with the bookmakers.
Paul the Octopus became internationally famous after his feeding behaviour was used to correctly predict the winner of each of the Germany national football team’s seven matches in the 2010 FIFA World Cup, as well as the outcome of the final.
