An Ohio man was charged with a misdemeanor for barking at a police dog in a Cincinnati suburb.  Ryan James Stephens, 25, was accused with teasing ‘Timber’ the dog by barking and hissing at the K9 animal inside a police patrol car in Mason, Ohio.

Ohio police officer Bradley Walker said he heard the dog barking uncontrollably inside his patrol car while he was investigating a car crash at a pub last weekend.

Walker reported that when he asked the barking Mr. Stephens why he was harassing the canine, he said “the dog started it.” The officer also said Stephens appeared highly intoxicated.

He’s due in municipal court on April 21.
