Antonio Recinos, a 35-year-old Connecticut man was arrested for complaining to a police officer because he felt that his drug dealer had shorted him.

East Hartford police said Antonio Recinos, 35, called 911 at about 1 a.m. Sunday to say he had been “cheated” after paying $40 for 0.4 gram of cocaine, but later he spotted a patrolman and decided to take his case face-to face with the police officer. Because that is always better than talking over the phone, right?

Recinos, who appeared to have been drinking, showed the officer a clear plastic bag with a white powder inside and complained that it was not an adequate amount of cocaine for the price he paid.

He was arrested and charged with possession of narcotics.
