Hungarian Zoo Hopes to Breed Endangered Snow Leopards (Video)

A Zoo in the Hungarian city of Veszprém has welcomed a pair of snow leopards with the hope of setting up a new breeding program for the endangered species.

One of them, Hara, was born at Paradise Wildlife Park in Broxbourne, UK, some 20 months ago and instantly became popular with visitors. She was paired with a male brought from Krakow.

It is believed there are currently only 3,000 snow leopards in the wild.
