Vanderbilt Mascot Punches a Fan in the Face (Video)

During the SEC basketball game between Vanderbilt Commodores and Tennessee Volunteers on Tuesday, ESPN’s cameras caught “Mr. C,” Vanderbilt’s mascot, giving a home fan a bloody nose.

While some say it happened by accident, it is also rumored that Commodores fan grabbed “Mr.C’s” testicles while crowd surfing through the student section at Memorial Gymnasium.

School officials are trying to determine what happened.

A bloody nose and a wounded ego weren’t even the worst indignities the Vanderbilt fan endured Tuesday night. Once he cleaned up and returned to his seat, he had to suffer through watching rival Tennessee rally from a double-digit deficit and complete a season sweep of the Commodores with a 60-51 road victory, reports The Dagger.
